Hi! I'm Meagan.
Embodied Recovery & Somatic Coach
Welcome to Defining Mountains and my mission to help others recover from toxic patterns in their lives. Our brains and bodies are wired to repeat behaviors and seek the familiar, even when the familiar is harmful. My goals is to help others break those cycles, and to reduce the frustration and confusion I experienced on my journey.
Recovery has been a major theme for me, presenting itself at two major transition points in my life—the year I had my son and got sober, and the year I lost my husband, my dad, and my career. I've survived narcissistic abuse, divorce, child and parent loss, and addiction. What
I learned is that therapy and mindset work only get you so far.
Real healing happens in the body. After years making unsatisfactory progress with traditional therapies, it was plant medicine that cracked me open, and breathwork that transformed me. The truth is the path to transformation is a journey inward that most people won't take.
Now, I guide others wanting to go on the journey. I help cycle-breakers rebuild their relationships with themselves, breaking the generational and modern-day cycles keeping them stuck. I teach people to repattern their insides, so they can find peace and build a life they love.

Healing is a collaborative, two-way process, meaning you can only receive what you are willing to give. And you can only give what you already have within you.
My intention is to be an open channel for all the knowledge, insights, and practices that helped me transform my life. It's up to you to filter, take in, process, adapt, and integrate what's for you, and leave what isn't. This work is supportive. Your results are tied to your willingness and consistency.
